Pediatric Therapy
Autism is relatively common. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 1 in 31 children in the United States age 8 and younger are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls. Autism rates are consistent across racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups.1
The number of autism diagnoses has grown over the years. This is partly because people are more aware, doctors have better tools to diagnose, and the definition of autism has expanded. As a result, more children are being identified and getting the support they need!

Once we receive your child’s referral for ABA or behavioral therapy, our team will contact you to schedule an initial evaluation. A BCBA or licensed psychologist will assess your child and create a personalized treatment plan with ongoing therapy sessions tailored to their needs.
A referral from your child’s pediatrician ensures our ABA therapy program is the right fit and provides essential information to create a personalized treatment plan. If needed, we can coordinate with your pediatrician to make the process easy and stress-free.
Yes. During severe weather, our ABA therapy and pediatric therapy clinics may delay opening, close early, or close for the day. Any weather-related updates are posted on our website by 7:30 AM. If we close early, our front desk will contact families with affected appointments. You can also check our Instagram and Facebook (@compleatKiDZ) for real-time updates.
If your child isn’t feeling well on the day of their ABA therapy or pediatric therapy appointment, please call our front desk to reschedule. Keeping your child and our therapy environment healthy helps ensure safe, effective, and consistent care for everyone.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your child’s ABA therapy, autism evaluation, or pediatric therapy appointment, please call our Front Desk at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed visits (“no-shows”) may result in services being placed on hold or discontinued, as consistent attendance is essential for your child’s progress and treatment outcomes.
If you ever need help rescheduling, our team is here to support you.

Your child’s initial ABA or Behavioral Therapy appointment includes a comprehensive evaluation by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This assessment reviews developmental, social, communication, and behavioral skills to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your child’s needs.
The initial evaluation typically lasts about one hour and includes therapist observation, standardized assessments, and a brief parent discussion to understand your child’s strengths, needs, and goals.
If your child has an IEP, please bring it so our team can review school goals and collaborate with local school-based providers. After the evaluation, our front desk team will assist you in scheduling ongoing ABA/Autism Therapy sessions at the clinic or in-home location most convenient for your family.
