Recently I saw a post on social media describing the merits of remote BCBA supervision vs onsite BCBA supervision. There we valid arguments for both sides.

 

It got me thinking… “I wonder how the technicians feel about this?”

 

So I decided to find out.

 

I surveyed all the Behavioral Technicians and Registered Behavioral Technicians at Compleat KiDZ, and asked the simple question: “When it comes to your supervision by a BCBA, do you feel more supported by, an in-clinic (onsite) BCBA or a virtual (remote) BCBA”

 

I had my suspicions on which would win, but I never guessed it would be by the amount it won by.

 

It was a landslide.

 

Over 84% preferred onsite.

 

I guess with all the advances in technology, people still prefer old fashioned face to face supervision.
