An Introduction to CompleatKiDZ

In the first Spotlight Carolina feature, viewers are introduced to CompleatKiDZ and our approach to supporting children and families.

CompleatKiDZ provides pediatric therapy services for children with autism and a variety of developmental needs. Depending on the clinic and the needs of the child, services may include Applied Behavior Analysis, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and in-home therapy.

Our clinicians work collaboratively to help families receive coordinated support centered around their child’s individual strengths, challenges, and goals.

Helping Children Learn, Grow, and Thrive

The second interview continues the conversation about the support available through CompleatKiDZ and the importance of making pediatric therapy accessible to families.

Coordinated Pediatric Therapy

The third installment highlights the value of coordinated care for children receiving multiple forms of therapy.

Communication, movement, behavior, sensory processing, play, and daily living skills are often closely connected. When appropriate, collaboration between ABA, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy professionals can help create a more consistent experience for the child and family.

At CompleatKiDZ, our goal is to support the whole child while keeping families informed and involved throughout the therapy process.

Understanding Autism Evaluations

This installment features Dr. Daniel Wells discussing autism, common signs families may notice, and what to expect during the autism evaluation process.

Autism can look different from child to child and may involve differences in communication, social engagement, sensory processing, behavior, or flexibility with routines and interests. An evaluation can help families better understand their child’s needs and identify helpful next steps.
